Ingrid Backstrom and Ted Davenport tops Down Under
The World Heli Challenge in Lake Wanaka, New Zealand brings some of the world's best skiers together to compete in helicopter-accessed terrain. The event features 3 categories: Big Mountain, Freeride, and a 'Chinese' downhill competitition. “I simply can’t believe this event, its incredible, the best ever and I’ve been competing for years in global competition” exclaimed the days best skier Ted Davenport from Aspen in Colorado, USA.
Big Mountain Day winners Ingrid Backstrom and Ted Davenport both ride Marker bindings and Völkl skis.
