Lightweight construction and category-defying ski performance
With RISE, we are presenting six technically sophisticated models for ski tourers. During development, the focus was on the combination of light weight, efficient and flexible handling on the ascent and reliable downhill performance with high radius variability.
The Rise Up 82, Rise Above 88 and Rise Beyond 96 as well as the women's versions Rise Up 82 W, Rise Above 88 W and Rise Beyond 96 W set new standards in terms of dynamic development and radius variability thanks to the 3D Radius Sidecut.
Radius variability improves the handling of the ski in different terrain and snow conditions. The different demands placed on a ski during a descent are constantly changing. A ski with the 3D radius construction masters the mix of wide powder turns and then narrow, steep couloirs more easily than a ski with a conventional construction.
In the new season, the Rise Beyond 96 continues to be an indispensable part of the touring ski line. With its light weight and reliable downhill performance, it remains a highlight for downhill-oriented all-round tourers who can master the ascent with ease thanks to its low weight.
With a weight reduction of 100g per ski compared to its predecessor, the Rise Beyond 98, the Rise Beyond 96 weighs just 1320g (@177cm) and 1262g (@170cm), making it easier to ascend in any terrain. With a center width of 96 mm, it takes the place of the widest ski among the six models in the line and, thanks to its tip rocker, provides fantastic floatation in deep snow.
TECHNOLOGY
ADHESIVE TECHNOLOGY
Thanks to the optimized Smart Glue technology, the skins adhere securely to the ski bases, but are also easier to remove from them. The glued surfaces can be separated more easily after transportation (e.g. in a skin bag), which means that a protective net is largely unnecessary!
3D Radius Sidecut
Three radii in one ski for maximum turning & speed versatility in all mountain skiing.
