Völkl Revolt Junior Park Skis 2025

Built for Future Champions: Young skiers are serious about their sport. That's why the Revolt JR isn't some watered-down version of an adult ski. It's built with a stiffer flex and high-performance core, just like the skis the pros use. This gives young skiers the stability and control they need to send it big and land smooth.

The Team

The selection of athletes is based on the product in question. In the development of the Revolt 90/84, athletes like Birk Ruud, Andri Ragettli, Kevin Rolland, and Alex Ferreira played a significant role, while for a Revolt 114, freeriders Ian McIntosh, Ross Tester, Kye Petersen, and Markus Eder were the focus. We place great importance on considering the specialized skills of athletes in line with the respective products and aim for a balanced mix of talents from both overseas and Europe.

Development Process

Völkl Product Manager Jean-Claude Pedrolini and ski engineer Lucas Romain, a former freeski pro, perfectly understand the needs and desires of the team riders. After creating the prototypes, an extensive testing phase follows with the athletes involved in the development. The team riders note the positive and negative characteristics of each ski and create a list of requirements for changes to be made in the next round.

This process repeats until a ski meets all the requirements, typically involving about six to seven tests per year. During these meetings, the designs and suggestions from artists are also discussed. Finally, the group decides which artist will create the designs.

The Artists

Pedrolini and his team search worldwide for artists. „What matters to us is that the designs for the different models tell a story that perfectly fits the ski and its riders. Each artist has their own approach and technique. That makes it so fascinating.“
