At Völkl, we've taken a close look at the rapidly changing snow and weather conditions of recent seasons - and listened carefully to what our customers want: more versatility, more agility. That's why, for the 2027 season, we're introducing the Mantra 84, alongside with a redesigned version of the proven Mantra 88. Both All-Mountain-Freeride models are equipped with innovative technologies developed at our headquarters in Straubing, delivering maximum versatility with effortless turn initiation and precise performance.

Mantra 88

With the redesigned Mantra 88, Völkl offers a medium waist-width model with modern features, that hits the core of current demands for maximum versatility on and off piste as well as powerful turns in all snow conditions. Redefined during the redesign, the new Mantra 88 comes with innovative Völkl technologies that now provide more dynamics, pop and accessibility. Among other things, the fibers of the Tailored Carbon Tips have been repositioned for improved agility and dynamics. Adapted as well are the radii of the 3D Radius Sidecut, underlining the flexibility of the technology. The underfoot radius of the Mantra 88 has been shortened by a meter for enhanced turn variety. The updates culminate in a ski with efficient power transmission and a sporty riding style that provides full control and more maneuverability on groomed slopes and in challenging terrain.

Versatile, Easy to turn, Indestructible

Mantra 84

The new Mantra 84 is made for sporty skiers who prefer groomed slopes but can’t deny their freeride affinity. With its narrow waist, the 84 takes cues from Völkl’s race line and excels in the turns with outstanding versatility and effortless handling on challenging slopes and variable snow conditions. This versatility is made possible in part by the proven Völkl 3D Radius Sidecut. With a short radius underfoot, it allows for easy compact turns on as well as off piste without being too aggressive. Longer radii at the tail and the tip allow excellent maneuverability at high speeds and for wide turns.
