Racetiger Collection
Introduced in 1973 the Völkl Racetiger collection epitomizes performance and innovation. Engineered and built in Straubing, Germany the current lineup of Völkl Racetigers are more agile, precise, and dynamic with models designed for top athletes and racing enthusiasts.
HISTORY
From zebra to tiger: In the early ’70s, a ski legend is born: the VÖLKL Renntiger!
At the outset the “Racing Tiger” is an all-metal ski. VÖLKL then introduces carbon fibre – an idea that’s miles ahead of its time – and that loses no time in proving its medals on the slopes. Since 1973 the Völkl Racetiger stands for tradition and innovation with a legendary design.
Racetiger GS
Featuring highly innovative technology such as Tailored Carbon Tips, the R-Motion 3 GW binding plate and a narrower waist width for even faster edge changes, the Racetiger GS stands out from its predecessors. These two key technologies, along with changes to the geometry, have had a significant impact on the handling characteristics of the Race models—with the goal of achieving a tighter radius with less effort for sport skiers, as well as lighter and smoother turning characteristics at moderate speeds. In this way, the Racetiger models bring top sport performance to an even larger target group.
Racetiger RC & SC
With highly innovative technologies and a new geometry: Völkl is giving the Racetiger RC and SC models an upgrade for the 2023/24 winter season – the 100th anniversary for the traditional company. The German ski manufacturer is focusing on new technologies, new geometries and with the Racetiger SC White, a third colour variant – another chapter in the successful history of the Racetiger line, which has represented pure on-piste performance for over 50 years.
